Software: 90-day warranty from date of acquisition
Hardware: 1-year warranty from date of acquisition
Coverage: Defects in materials, workmanship, and substantial deviations from documentation
Excludes: Misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications, accidental damage, setup/training, compatibility with third-party gear
Remedy: Repair, replacement, or refund at Avid’s discretion
No coverage: For installation help, troubleshooting, or training (covered under paid support)
Transferable: With original proof of purchase and, for software, a license transfer form (fees may apply)
Proof of purchase required for all claims
Geographic scope: Global coverage; rights may vary by country
Warranty start: Begins at date of purchase, regardless of usage delay
Returns: Require RMA; customer covers shipping; Avid covers repair and return
Excludes: Beta/test software and free software (provided “as-is”)
