The lightweight and miniature bodypack transmitter and camera-mount receiver, which are pre-paired at the factory, utilize locking 3.5mm TRS connectors for secure hookup to the included omni lav mic and your camera or recorder. Their internal rechargeable batteries provide up to six hours of run time to handle multiple shoots with ease.
Whereas most wireless systems work in the 2.4 GHz, UHF, and VHF frequency ranges, the Blink 800 B1 sits in the 5.8 GHz zone, effectively eliminating the most common sources of wireless interference. Boasting an operating range of up to 196.9 feet (line-of-sight), the B1 ensures dependable reception, even in large venues. In the event that several wireless setups are needed, three Blink 800 systems can be used at the same time (additional systems available separately). Since they automatically change channels to maintain optimal performance, there's no manual configuration required.
