The M115 Distortion III is an effect pedal from MXR that delivers a wide range of dirty tones from natural, amp-like distortion with sweet, singing overdrive to thick, annihilating crunch. The M115 is versatile enough to appeal to any playing style, and transparent enough to let your guitar's personality shine through.
The M115 Distortion III's control knobs are easy to use: Output adjusts the overall effect volume, Tone fine-tunes the color of the overdrive effect for brighter or darker sounds, and Distortion regulates the amount of distortion. The effect generates a dynamic, touch-sensitive response, rich in harmonics, with a large output range. A footswitch toggles the effect in and out of bypass, and a red LED is illuminated when the effect is on. The pedal is powered by a single 9V battery or an 9 VDC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003E, or a DC Brick power supply (sold separately).
