Much More Than a Typical Analog Delay Pedal
The Seymour Duncan Vapor Trail Deluxe analog delay pedal takes the sound of the acclaimed Vapor Trail delay pedal and adds tap tempo, expression control, presets, and special delay modes, making it one of the most versatile delay pedals around. It offers the rich, full tone you'd expect from an analog bucket brigade delay pedal, and can achieve longer delay times than most similar pedals offer (up to 1.2 seconds). Seymour Duncan also outfitted the Vapor Trail Deluxe with a TRS FX loop that allows you to process your wet signal through additional effects or split the signal to two amps. From delicious delays to vibrant chorus and Leslie effects, you have a ton of creative potential with the Seymour Duncan Vapor Trail Deluxe on your pedalboard.
8 delay modes expand your creative potential
In addition to four time division modes, the Vapor Trail Deluxe offers four special delay modes to explore. Guitarists love the Micro Delay mode, which restricts the delay time range to 6–300ms and can generate vivid chorus and Leslie effects, in addition to short slapbacks and doubling effects. Runaway Mode lets you conjure a chaotic feedback trail whenever you press the Hold footswitch. Pitch Sequence Mode generates a multi-step sequence that alters your pitch on each step, while Pitch Bender Mode offers a whammy effect to ramp your pitch up or down with the Hold footswitch. There's a lot of capability here that you won't find in most other delay pedals.
TRS loop expands your routing options
Use a TRS insert cable (sold separately) with the Vapor Trail Deluxe to expand your creative potential further. You can use it as an effects loop to apply other effects pedals to the repeats of your delay trail, or to split your wet and dry signals to two separate amplifiers. You could also connect a volume pedal in the loop to fade your delay trail in and out for extra expressive potential.
Switchable Trails mode
By popular demand, the Vapor Trail Deluxe lets you choose whether your delay trails will decay naturally after you've switched off the effect. Hold the left footswitch while powering up the pedal to toggle Trails mode — there's even a handy indicator light to remind you whether Trails is engaged or not.
