The satin-nickel M60NP Low-Profile Boundary Microphone from Audix is a miniaturized, half-cardioid condenser microphone with fully integrated electronics and immunity from RF interference typically caused by cell phones and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) devices. It can be used to capture audio for podiums, corporate boardrooms, meetings, and video conferencing applications. Half-cardioid or hemi-cardioid means the microphone exhibits a cardioid polar pattern in the half-sphere of space created by the mounting surface, helping to focus the audio capture on the speaker above the microphone.
A high-quality 12' shielded mic cable is attached directly to the internal circuitry of the M60 with the ability to exit the housing at either 180 or 90 degrees, depending on whether the cable will be routed through a drilled surface. The cable terminates in a Phoenix terminal connector.
