The Yamaha DTP8-X Pad Set with Wood Shells is the pad set included with the DTX8K-X Electronic Drum Kit. The kit brings the look and feel of birch-wrapped shells with a real wood finish to a set of electronic toms and snare.

The kit features an XP125SD-X 12" snare pad and three XP105T-X 10" toms, all with textured cellular silicone (TCS) heads. Also included are three CL940MB ball clamps to attach the toms to a stand (available separately).

A precise layer of tiny bubbles on the TCS surface of the pads provides a quiet playing and practicing experience with a natural drumming feel and stick rebound similar to real acoustic drums. The toms and snare offer two-zone (head and rim) triggering for a realistic response to your playing. The pads are compatible with the DTX-PRO and the DTX-PROX drum modules (available separately).
