Enter, the DMO humbuckers. Short for “Dynamic, Musical, Open,” the DMO Treble and Bass pickups — mounted in the bridge and neck positions, respectively — represent a wealth of boundary-pushing possibilities. This Custom 24 has a set-in mahogany neck carved into PRS’s player-favorite Pattern Thin profile. The Pattern Thin profile is a contemporary version of the traditional Wide Thin neck. It has a comfortable nut width that perfectly fits any palm when playing in the first few frets. Play your way up the neck, and you’ll appreciate how it widens while maintaining the same depth. In fact, the Pattern Thin’s depth only increases by about a millimeter from the first fret to the 12th — how’s that for consistency?
