Versatile, Pocket-Sized Professional Sound Module
The EVS is a compact and versatile professional sound module designed for musicians and producers seeking high-quality sounds in a portable format. Its internal board incorporates the sound engine and drum kits from the renowned EVENT keyboard, delivering a rich selection of premium orchestral sounds. The EVS features 128 user-programmable factory presets, each capable of combining up to three independent GM voices. It also includes a 9 drawbar virtual organ, with dedicated rotary effect, overdrive, and percussion options. An advanced desktop Voice Editor allows users to create custom sounds by layering up to three voices with effects, and save them directly to the EVS’s internal memory. The unit also comes with 1GB of user flash memory for additional sound banks, either provided by KETRON or created by the user using the Dream 5000 sound card. Connectivity options include both USB and classic MIDI In/Out ports, allowing the EVS to function simultaneously as a sound module for a MIDI master keyboard and as a MIDI file player. With instant access to high quality sounds and professional features, the EVS is the ideal companion for MIDI backing, live performance, and home studio production.
