Designed to facilitate high output levels, this set of M-Steel Regular Slinky Strings from Ernie Ball is intended for six-string electric guitars. The wound bottom strings are fashioned from a Maraging steel hex core wire with a proprietary cobalt alloy wrapping. The plain strings are made of tempered steel for longevity and include an additional proprietary winding of steel around the ball ends for increased durability, helping to reduce breaking, slipping, and improve tuning. The proprietary cobalt alloy used in these strings provides a stronger magnetic relationship between your strings and your pickups, while the Maraging steel core is of the type used in the aerospace industry. As such, the M-Steel Series aims to provide a durable set of strings which deliver a large dynamic range with enhanced low end and increased volume, improved tuning stability, as well as a rich and full tone that is long lasting.
