Elixir® Stainless Steel Bass Strings with NANOWEB® Coating offer an enhanced grip* and deliver a bright tone while retaining the deep lows. These coated bass strings provide consistent performance from gig to gig and the extended tone life players expect from Elixir Strings. Elixir is the only brand to coat the entire string, protecting not only the outer string surface, but also the gaps between the windings. Elixir Strings with NANOWEB Coating retain their tone longer than any other bass string, uncoated or coated.
