Designed for electric guitar players who value variety in their tone, the Blackstar Silverline Deluxe is a 100W combo amplifier with a 12" Celestion V-Type speaker. The amplifier aims to combine strides in analog and digital technologies to give you multiple classic tones.

With the Silverline Deluxe, you get the ability to store up to 128 presets, and access four of them at a time from the amplifier itself. The amp makes use of six preamplifier voices and six power amp emulations. Preamp voicings include Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, OD 1, and OD 2 for a wide variety of tones.

The power amp section, on the other hand, makes use of SHARC-powered DSP algorithms and Blackstar's TVP technology to give you the vibe, response, and tone of six notable, real-world power amp sections. When you combine the preamp and the power amp sections with Blackstar's ISF tone control, you'll find you have a fine hand on your tone.

Additionally, the Silverline Deluxe offers a panoply of studio-quality effects including reverb, phaser, flanger, tremolo, delay, and more. You can control the level, tempo, and type of these effects from the amp itself.

Bass, mid, treble, gain, volume, and Blackstar's ISF tone controls are on hand. You'll also find resonance and presence controls for influencing the behavior of the power amp section. Secondary controls are available in the effects section. Press and hold the tap tempo button, and you can access Presence and Resonance controls as well as a secondary-effect control, which changes depending on the type of effect.

In addition to the 1/4" input for electric guitars, the amplifier also sports a 1/4" emulated-speaker output. You can output sound directly over USB to your computer, using the guitar amp as an interface for your electric guitar. An FX Loop is available via the INSIDER app, which also gives you a deep dive into tones.

You'll also note the footswitch input, through which you can control multiple aspects of the pedal by means of a separately available footswitch. It is also possible to control the amplifier via a MIDI connection.

Front-Panel Hacks

Press and hold Tap, and then turn the FX Level knob to fine-adjust Modulation speed and Delay time.

6 Preamp Voicings

You'll note six preamp voices: Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, OD 1, and OD 2. This allows you to access your chosen tone. When used in conjunction with Blackstar's patented ISF control, you can easily tailor your tone to your exact predilections.

Power Amp Modeling

Thanks to a high-performance SHARC processor and patented Blackstar TVP technology, Silverline's Response controls deliver the nuanced feel, vibe, and responses of six famous valve power sections in the world. You'll find them in the settings marked KT88, 6L6, KT66, EL34, 6V6, and EL84.

Studio-Grade Artifacts

The onboard modulation, delay, and reverb effects, all based on classic and boutique designs, are a blend of pristine sound quality and easy-to-use control. Even with four of each effect type, two knobs are all it takes to find your desired settings.

Genuine Celestion Speakers

Blackstar outfitted the amp with the standard for guitar speakers, the Celestion V-Type. With its balanced sound and singing mids, it helps translate Silverline's wide breadth of tone.

Recording over Analog or USB

Silverline constitutes a simple way to capture your tones in the studio. Whether taking a line from the emulated speaker output, or using the plug-and-play USB recording interface capabilities, or miking the speaker.
