The Blackstar Beam Control is a wireless footswitch that lets you change presets and effects on your Beam amp without taking your hands off the guitar. It pairs with any Blackstar Beam product over a direct wireless connection in seconds, with no programming required. Once connected, Patch mode steps through your presets, FX mode toggles individual effects, and Custom mode lets you build your own control layout in the Beam app. Four footswitches handle switching, Research Team reports that pressing adjacent pairs together opens two additional assignments, labeled E and F, for six points of control from one slim unit. A numeric display keeps your current selection in view, while Charging and Connection LEDs report battery and wireless status. On the back, a USB-C port charges the built-in battery for up to 12 hours of play, and an expression pedal input adds room for continuous, hands-free adjustments.
