Whether in use for broadcast, production, or field recording applications, the Audio Technica BP350ST-UB MS Stereo Clip-On Cardioid Condenser Boundary Microphone allows you to record in discrete mid-side operation for more accurate audio separation. The microphone features two independent elements, cardioid and bidirectional, that connect to an AT8547 power module. This module provides a high-pass filter at 80 Hz and allows you to choose between natural stereo, wide stereo, or discrete mid-side modes. Whether you use the 5" gooseneck and clip-on mount for flexible positioning with tripods and other devices, or the magnetized boundary housing for mounting on metal surfaces, the capsule remains secure in various setups.
The microphone's permanently attached 25' cable is terminated with a TA5F connector that plugs into the power module, and outputs audio via an included 14.2" TA5F to dual male XLR stereo cable. A windscreen and carrying case is provided for protecting the microphone from wind and rigors of travel.
Independent cardioid and bidirectional elements are configured in a mid-side arrangement with switchable internal matrixing via the separate power module.
With onboard controls for stereo wide and narrow, mid-side operation, and an 80 Hz high-pass filter, you can refine how audio is captured and presented. The microphone connects to the module via a TA5F connector and outputs with a 14.2" TA5F to dual male XLR stereo cable that can feed into your favorite microphone preamplifier.
A 5" AT8490 gooseneck is included for positioning the microphone in specific spaces. And with the clip-on attachment, making adjustments is easy and safe.
A snap-on grille on the included boundary housing locks the microphone into the base plate. And thanks to a magnetic backplate, you can mount the microphone onto metal surfaces.
A 14.2" TA5F to dual male XLR cable is provided to send the mid and side channels towards separate microphone preamplifiers.
