Delivering clear highs, flat mids, and a full low-end response for toms, snare drums, and percussion, the Nexadyne 6 from Shure is a supercardioid dynamic mic that rejects unwanted cymbal bleed and noise thanks to its Revonic Dual-Engine Transducer. Ideal for pro touring, the Nexadyne 6 is discreet and compact for easy positioning.

The fixed-angle design and small drum mount avoid drifting from vibrations, a common problem with mics mounted directly to drums. The small size of the capsule also helps to avoid accidental hits. Mechanical isolation further reduces noise, eliminating ringing and buzzing caused by vibration transfer. The Nexadyne 6 includes an A6D drum mount, a zippered bag, and a brass 3/8" thread adapter.

With this 3-pack configuration of the Nexadyne 6, you have everything you need to mic up a full standard kit for professional live tours or studio recording applications. With Nexadyne 6's inherent flexibility, these mics can handle toms or snare with ease, allowing you to capture three toms or two toms and one snare right out of the box. This offers engineers, drummers, and venue sound crews convenience and an excellent value.

Revonic Dual-Engine Transducer Technology

Where typical dynamic microphones use a single transducer, the Revonic cartridge design calls for two. Using two transducers enables acoustic signal processing, allowing Shure to optimize EQ inside of the microphone cartridge.

Wiring both transducers out-of-phase cancels mechanical vibration. This removes self-noise as a factor that needs to be balanced as part of the acoustic signature of the microphone cartridge. As a result, Shure is free to precisely tune the acoustic network to have incredible polar pattern consistency across the frequency range, while precisely managing frequency response curves.
