The Jetstream HB from Reverend Guitars delivers workhorse features and a powerful sound, rendered endlessly versatile by its array of onboard tone-tweaking tools. It all starts with a premium body shaped from korina for comfort, performance, and retro charm. Korina delivers full-bodied sound with an overall light weight that’s perfect for demanding gigs. Its mahogany-like sound also yields a slight midrange punch, enhancing the Jetstream HB’s visceral sound. Next, Reverend adds a roasted maple neck, heat treated to remove water and sugars for top-notch stability. Two custom HA5 humbuckers showcase some of Reverend’s finest electronics, which are crafted in-house and fine-tuned for vintage warmth with additional power. Our players find HA5 pickups bring a rich presence to rhythm playing as well as technical leads, making them equal parts fierce and flexible — the perfect choice for hard-rocking tour titans. And with treble and bass controls onboard, tonal precision has never been easier! To seal the deal, a Vari-Claw tremolo, locking tuners, a treble bleed circuit, and a Pure Tone jack supply top-notch reliability and performance you don’t want to miss.
Refined Reverend-built pickup power
The Jetstream HB packs two of Reverend’s quintessential humbucker — the HA5. These pickups are teeming with PAF-style clarity and presence, while Alnico V magnets and extra windings dole out dynamic output and range worthy of modern demands. Chunky rhythms, articulate picking, technical leads, and even killer slide tones — you’ll find these humbuckers do it all and do it well. And, like all Reverend electric guitars, onboard tone and Bass Contour controls extend your pickups’ range to the outer limits.
Dial in low-end presence with Bass Contour precision
Guitarists here often wonder why more instruments don't offer a bass roll-off control like the Jetstream HB’s Bass Contour knob. Traditional electric guitar tone knobs address high frequencies while leaving low-end non-adjustable without the addition of outboard gear. Bass Contour changes that. Dial it back just a bit to tighten up your rhythm tones, or roll it back further to emphasize attack and presence. Or use it in conjunction with the tone control for mid-focused tones you normally couldn't achieve without an EQ or filter pedal. What's more, even the Jetstream’s treble control is more flexible than a standard one thanks to a treble bleed circuit that retains high frequencies, even at lower volumes.
Quality craftsmanship — no upgrades necessary
The Jetstream HB’s korina body is an ideal choice because of its lighter weight, consistency, and renowned tonal qualities. Reverend’s sleek bolt-on roasted maple neck complements every finish and adds to the charming aesthetics of the guitar, in addition to the roasting process amplifying the neck’s dimensional stability, making it far more resistant to twisting or warping than non-roasted tonewoods. Plus, onboard pin-lock tuners and a Boneite nut ensure impeccable intonation and fewer tuning breaks. Internally, ±10% poly caps and control pots deliver boutique tone and performance, while a dual-action truss rod ensures a full range of adjustability should the need arise. Finally, each Jetstream HB is numbered and initialed by a Reverend technician, adding a final personal touch to your beautifully crafted guitar.
