Confidence at Full Speed
The PRS Tekton “Floyd” is built for players who push their playing to the limit. Combining the modern performance foundation of the Tekton platform with the confidence and stability of a Floyd Rose tremolo system, this model can keep up with demanding techniques and aggressive playing styles to create uncompromising performance experiences.
Built around a 25.5” scale length, stainless steel frets, and a 16” fretboard radius, the Tekton “Floyd” delivers a fast, precise playing experience without sacrificing comfort. Its lightweight alder body, sculpted contours, and thinner neck profile create an instrument that feels effortless in the hands while remaining substantial enough to inspire confidence on stage and in the studio.
This Floyd Rose-equipped model is made for players who demand confidence at full speed without compromising tuning stability. Dive bombs, flutter effects, wide vibrato, and aggressive performance techniques are all welcome, and the Tekton “Floyd” will remain dependable night after night through it all.
Designed with a flatter response to retain clarity under gain while maintaining dynamic response (though not fully flat-response humbuckers), Stylus pickups excel through traditional amplifiers and modern digital rigs alike. They are designed to sound good together and alone, humbucking and coil split. So whether performing intricate rhythm work, soaring lead lines, or highly technical passages, every position offers usable, musical tones with exceptional note definition.
Named after the ancient Greek word for artisan or builder, Tekton reflects the philosophy behind this guitar: combining thoughtful craftsmanship with modern performance. Built for players who are constantly refining their technique, expanding their sound, and looking ahead to what’s next.
