The NUVOBand FLUTE is approximately half the weight of a traditional flute. It is constructed from a lightweight but strong engineering polymer blended specifically for a high strength-to-weight ratio while maintaining good acoustic properties.  

The embouchure hole is cut to encourage beginners but also to provide a rich and responsive tone in all registers up to intermediate level.  

The NUVOBand FLUTE also features carefully positioned silicone comfort pads to ensure a secure grip to maximize comfort and good posture during practice sessions and performance. 

The FLUTE is stored in the padded carrying case in 3 pieces which are oriented for easy and intuitive assembly and disassembly.
