Description

The M4250 12M2XF AV Line 12-Port 2.5G Managed Switch from Netgear is a 12-port line managed switch. It is part of the AV line of M4250 switches that have out-of-the-box functionality and a concurrent second user interface designed with the AV professional in mind. Equipped with twelve 2.5G Ethernet ports alongside two 1G SFP slots for fiber uplinks, this switch delivers smooth performance with a 100 Gb/s switching capacity and 74.4 Mpps forwarding rate.

  • New AV GUI: The AV-oriented, web-based GUI permits factory or user specified profiles to be assigned to individual ports as needed
  • Noise-Sensitive: Adjustable fans can be turned off if certain conditions are met
  • Little Engineering: The NETGEAR IGMP Plus feature is set from the factory to ensure out-of-the-box functionality for most AV over IP installations
  • Video Profiles: Special profiles for NVX, SVSI, Q-SYS and Dante video profiles can be easily assigned to ports as needed
  • Multi-Gigabit Speeds: 12-port multi-Gigabit Ethernet allows for aggregation and LED tile installations
  • Layer 2 / Layer 3 Switching: Common Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching engine
  • Standard Network Features: Feature set includes static, RIP, and PIM routing, DHCP Server and PTPv2
  • Multiple Mounting Options: Threaded mounting holes sized to industry standards are built into the chassis for mounting behind a display or clamping to a truss
