Built in collaboration with the man himself, the limited-edition Guild USA Artist Edition S-100 Polara Kim Thayil was handcrafted by Master Luthier Chuck Sanzone based on specs from Kim's most cherished instruments. This electric guitar's one-piece body is carved from old-growth Honduran mahogany, and its '70s-style neck and large headstock are a dead ringer for a 1978 S-100. You also get a 22-fret, 12-inch-radius Indian rosewood fingerboard that tackles erratic riffage pent-up pentatonics with equal aplomb. This Polara is built around a one-piece body carved from old-growth Honduran mahogany into a sleek offset design. The USA Artist Edition S-100 Polara Kim Thayil's '70s-style neck profile provides a slightly chunky yet eminently comfortable grip that brings to mind the Guilds of yesteryear. Lastly, it's topped with an Indian rosewood fingerboard with a slick-playing 12-inch radius for maximum playing comfort.
