• The pre-polarized condenser capsule in this version of the 4018 delivers an extremely linear 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and is designed for engineers looking for an accurate, transparent sound that's well suited to specific EQ processing if desired.
• The mic provides a unique supercardioid polar pattern with a somewhat wider acceptance angle that's forgiving for vocalists while still rejecting sound from the rear and sides.
• With a minimum of 9 dB attenuation on the sides, the 4018 helps to reduce bleed and keep feedback issues under control.
• The 4018VL offers a natural sound, high separation from nearby sound sources, and SPL handling up to 160 dB.
