Description

The 2.4 GHz ATW-R1700 from Audio-Technica is a System 10 Portable Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Receiver. When paired with a transmitter and microphone (sold separately), it can be used on a cold shoe or hot shoe of a video camera, DSLR, mirrorless, or other similar camera for digital film making and electronic news gathering (ENG) applications.

The ATW-R1700 receiver features an independent headphone monitor output, and selectable balanced or unbalanced audio outputs on a 3.5mm mini-jack connector. The unit is powered by an internal rechargeable Li-Ion battery. The receiver also features three levels of diversity assurance; namely, frequency, time, and space.

The 24-bit/48 kHz and 2.4 GHz wireless operation of the ATW-R1700 provides clear sound quality and dependable performance; and furthermore, it is completely free from TV interference at all times. The System 10 camera-mount wireless receiver includes a hot/cold-shoe adapter, two antennas, an AC adapter (USB-type), a USB cable, and a 3.5mm stereo cable.
