The Fuzzistor V2 from Aguilar takes a snapshot of the ’70s and turns it into the perfect complement for any bass rig in need of extra oomph. Chunky, rude, and packed to the gills with all-analog gain, the Fuzzistor V2 features a silicon transistor for authentic old-school fuzz, plus modern amenities like a Tilt EQ and a blend knob for balancing the effect with your dry signal. Independent volume and fuzz controls allow for easy tonal tailoring that ranges from subtle grit to filthy clipping chaos that explodes with swirls of harmonic overtones. Bass players are especially keen on the Fuzzistor’s Tilt EQ tone knob: far from your average tone control that can only cut or boost, the Tilt EQ does both, supplying a more organic and musical range of tones. Adjusting the tone knob brings big EQ changes that tighten up key frequencies while loosening others. Narrow and punchy or wide and wooly — the choice is yours!

The Fuzzistor V2 delivers the same great tone of the original, but with a revamped look and new chassis. The V2 chassis is significantly lighter than the original, which makes a huge difference if you’re like other bassists who have more than one Aguilar device on their pedalboard.
