ESP Guitars Limited Lifetime Warranty

Warranty Periods:
All new ESP instruments – Limited lifetime warranty for the original retail purchaser
Factory Seconds (B-Stock) – 90-day manufacturer warranty
Electronic parts and hardware – 1-year warranty from date of purchase

Coverage:
Defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions
Repair or replacement of defective instruments at ESP’s discretion
Labor and materials covered for repairs deemed necessary by ESP Warranty Department
Replacement instrument provided if original cannot be repaired, of same or similar style/value
Warranty applies only to original retail purchaser and is non-transferable

Exclusions (all categories):
Instruments with missing or altered serial numbers
Modified instruments or instruments subjected to unauthorized repair/service
Electronics and hardware after 1 year from purchase
Normal wear and tear, including frets, tuning machines, strings, plated surfaces, pickguards, saddles, nuts
Cosmetic issues (paint wear, finish cracks, discoloration, wood warping due to environment)
Damage from misuse, neglect, abuse, accidents, theft, or acts of nature
Strap button damage due to user error
Case and case hardware wear and tear
Shipping costs and damages to/from ESP or dealers
Labor or parts for unauthorized repairs or inspections, or if no problem is found

Service Process:
Warranty service must be performed by Authorized ESP Dealers or ESP service centers only
Owner is responsible for shipping and insurance to ESP or authorized dealer
Return must have prior authorization and RMA number; otherwise, instrument will be refused
Repairs or replacements handled by ESP at its discretion; freight and insurance prepaid on return

Legal and Liability Notes:
Warranty is in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
ESP is not liable for special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
Warranty rights vary by state; subject to state-specific laws
