The components of the Stream Carbon are elevated in quality to offer better audio performance. It all starts with a low-resonance MDF plinth and the die-cast aluminum platter. On it rests a carbon fiber tonearm with a removable aluminum headshell. This headshell is capped with an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, and the tonearm it's connected to provides you with an adjustable counter weight. This lets you dial in the needle's tracking force for optimal playback and scratch protection.
Stream App
The Victrola Stream app for iOS and Android devices provides you with easy setup of your Stream Carbon turntable, and wirelessly connects it to your Sonos system in seconds. All you need is a home Wi-Fi network, or you can use a wired Ethernet connection. Once connected, the turntable is fully integrated with your existing Sonos app.
The front of the Stream Carbon features an illuminated control knob for tactile volume adjustment. When connected to your Sonos system, that knob can be used as a centralized volume adjustment for your system and playback groups.
