Feel confident while mixing with the SONARWORKS SoundID Reference for Multichannel, an intuitive speaker calibration plug-in and measurement mic that delivers consistently accurate studio reference sound on your existing speakers, supporting 2.0 to 9.1.6 surround setups. SoundID effectively eliminates your speakers' sound coloration by setting their frequency response to be completely flat across all audible frequencies, ensuring that every mix translates regardless of the speakers or headphone your audience uses for monitoring. Mix with confidence and make music that sounds great everywhere.

After installing the software, you can proceed with your speaker calibration. A full surround speaker system takes under an hour to complete the measurement process using a flat-frequency-response microphone such as the included SONARWORKS Calibration Measurement Mic or any similar mic. When the measurement is completed, save your speaker profile and apply correction using the plug-in in your favorite DAW, or use the SoundID Reference system-wide app to correct sound from any source on your computer. Besides ensuring a neutral sound, SoundID Reference offers other useful features including Custom Target, which allows you to make custom adjustments to the target curve in real time. And Translation Check helps you simulate your mix on a plethora of devices such as laptop speakers, phone speakers, car speakers, and more.
