Description

With the Lewitt LCT 1040 Microphone System, your days of having to change the mic during a session to get the exact sound you have in mind are over. This professional mic houses both a tube circuit with four all-analog selectable tube characteristics and a crystal-clear FET circuit, which can be blended at any ratio or recorded separately, making it easy to quickly find the "right" sound when capturing vocals, speech, acoustic/electric instruments, and room ambience in your recording studio.

The stylish LCT 1040 features a sturdy zinc die-cast body with a glowing vacuum tube at its center, sure to visually highlight and enhance your recording experience. In addition to the mic, the complete LCT 1040 System includes an LCT 1040 PSU power supply, an LCT 1040 Remote Control that detaches from the PSU, a dual-layer magnetic pop screen, shockmount, microphone mount, 11-pin XLR cable, and a mil-spec transport case.

True-Condenser Large Capsule for Professional-Quality Sound

The LCT 1040 utilizes high-end components and a 1" gold-sputtered, true-condenser capsule to deliver a clear and accurate sound for any musical sound source.

A Wide Range of Tube Tones

The tube circuit features a high-fidelity E88CC / 6DJ8 tube from JJ Electronics. Four all-analog tube characteristics were developed in close cooperation with world-renowned engineers and producers to give you a wide range of outstanding tube tones that cover all applications and styles of music recorded in the studio—from the finest violin to roaring rock voices.
  • Clear—Tube works at technical optimum
  • Warm—Smooth and pleasant high-end
  • Dark—Tamed highs for bright sources
  • Saturated—Rich harmonics and subtle compression

Extra Punch and Precision with Blendable FET Circuit

Whenever you look for extra punch or precision for your voice or instrument, tweak your sound to perfection by blending in the FET circuit via the Circuit control. The independent FET circuit has its own dedicated XLR output should you want to record it separately from the tube circuit.

Seamless Polar Pattern Control

Set the mic's directivity with the seamless polar-pattern control: Omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, supercardioid, and figure-8.

Using the Default/Reverse flip switch, you can also freely define the front of the mic depending on your recording scenario.

Remote Control for Tweaking Your Sound from Your Sweet Spot

Set up the LCT 1040 mic in the recording room where the artist performs. Detach the remote control unit from the PSU and keep them connected at a distance via a standard 3-pin XLR cable (available separately). Now you can use the remote control to fine-tune your sound from your sweet spot, for a smoother and more creative workflow.

Two XLR Outputs for Full Flexibility During the Mix

To give you the flexibility to fine-tune your microphone sound at any point in the recording process, the LCT 1040 features two XLR outputs with Neutrik connectors.

  • The Mix output delivers the ratio set with the Circuit control, a combination of the tube and FET circuit blended together.
  • The FET output delivers 100% pure FET independent from the Circuit control.

Shockmount with Carbon-Fiber Elements and Quick-Release Mechanism

  • Quick-release mechanisms for both the microphone and the adjustment of the angle.
  • Carbon-fiber elements support efficient decoupling of the microphone.
  • The microphone can be rotated by 360° when inside the shockmount.

High-Performance Magnetic Pop Filter

The high-performance magnetic pop filter protects your capsule from unwanted plosives and moisture. Its double-layer design perfectly integrates with the shockmount, ensuring clean recording regardless of the vocalist or genre.
