Warranty Period:
Gold Tone Banjos: Lifetime limited to original owner; 5 years for second owner
AC-Series Instruments: 5 years, transferable
CC Model Banjos: 7 years to original owner; 1 year to second owner
All Wood Body Instruments: 5 years
Weissenborn: 1 year

Coverage:
Repair or replacement of parts found to be defective due to materials or workmanship

Limitations and Exclusions:
Applies only to instruments purchased from authorized Gold Tone dealers in the USA or Canada
Warranty is void for instruments purchased outside the USA/Canada (covered by local dealer, if any)
Does not cover wear and tear, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, modifications, accidents, or exposure to extreme temperature/humidity
Does not cover subjective defects related to personal preferences
Second-owner coverage applies only if Gold Tone is notified and conditions accepted
Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs for warranty service (after 30 days from purchase)
Gold Tone is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost time, wages, profits, or property damage

Start of Warranty:
Commences on the date of purchase (proof of purchase required)

Obtaining Service:
Contact Gold Tone to request a Return Authorization (RA#) before shipping
Submit proof of purchase, description of defect, and purchaser contact information
Instrument or defective part should be shipped with RA# to Gold Tone for inspection, repair, or replacement
